Korea Trip

Time to do some updates! (:

It's really hectic after 6 hrs flight back to Singapore. I wonder how can i survive 10 hrs over on a flight to Germany! My hair stands when i think about it. Eww.

Oh ya, I have yet to thank my girlies (Zoe, Sylvia, Shimei) for sending me off at the Airport! :D You girls rock! I did promise to bring back some souvenirs for all of you. Haha. Pass it to you all when we meet! Not forgetting my Dearie! I think he had been going to and fro airport a few times because his sis went overseas too. Haha.

Anyway, overall trip to Korea was excellent with good tour guide. So far, among all the overseas trip that i went, this trip left the deepest impression and i learnt alot from the tour guide about the Korean cultures, history and lifestyles. We were quite lucky to get such experienced tour guide with well-spoken Chinese. At least it's understandable for us cause she studied 9 years in Taiwan and not in China. Hah. I mean the accent.

Places of interest that we went:
- Everland Theme Park (din try any games tho')
- Make Kimchi
- Wore Korean Traditional Clothes
- Plucked strawberries
- Wine Tunnel
- National Museum (it's damn bored! it's an additional one, added by the tour guide)
- Temple
- Fly to Jeju Island (where the hotel there was like heaven! Ramada Hotel)
- "The Legend" drama site (which is now showing on Channel U. i din watch tho.)
- Submarine (there's absolutely no need for diving seriously)
- Sunrise Peak (we din go during the sunrise due to the timing)
- Teddy Bear Museum (the one which Princess Hours went for filming)
- Dinosaur Park (i dunno why is it included in the tour package -.-)
- Fly back to Seoul
- "Da Chang Jin" drama site (quite shocked when i found out that the roofs are made up of Styrofoams)
- Nanta Show (they came to Singapore to perform during year 2001, i think nobody appreciated. but i can tell you it's worth the money. it's more than what i expected.)
- Laneige, The Face Shop and some other Korean brands cosmetics and beauty products
- Shopping at Dongdaemun Market & Sinchon Female Street

Roughly these are where we went and some other places that i forget their names. Of course, i bought alot during the shoppings. 2 bags there, 5 bags back. You can imagine how much i bought. No doubt, the apparels there are as expensive. I only bought those cheap ones that i spotted. Mostly were shirts. ):

This trip was actually a good test out for my OSEP. And, i do enjoy staying there except that their food is kimchi, kimchi and kimchi (mind you, i hate it), language barrier (most of them only know a few sentence of English and Chinese) and some Koreans are not as polite as you might think. Maybe i've seen too much Korean dramas. Hah. Shall see then. Have yet to go for interview.

Have been uploading photos into myphotoalbum. I've taken 700+ photos. Still selecting some nice ones. You all can view it first cause i've uploaded about half already.

Celebrated Kylie's (Alan's friend) birthday on Thursday at Jack's place. Dun quite like the idea of going to Jack's place as their food is expensive and not delicious. But, at least for mine Grilled Cod Fish with Watercress sauce and Seafood in a Basket were acceptable for me. (:

Walked around Watsons and saw the hair dye section. I have the urge to dye my hair! I think probably next week before my tep stopover. If not, i think i'll never have the time to dye already! Holidays ending soon soon soon for me. I felt so guilty when i saw how busy all my friends were with their projects. ):

Had a great day with Dear out at Starbucks, first time trying to mail out using Reg. Postage and playing badminton at RP. Dunno why i feel a sense of satisfaction after mailing out the items to my customers. Haha. Maybe because that's when i feel i earn money myself!

Supposed to go out later to Far East with girlies but i guess i should acc my mum today since i've been out the last 2 days. (: I've been real good today. Heh.

I hate it when customers dun reply my sms. I wasted the money and effort to sms them instead of emailing them for convenience, yet none replied. What the .. I appreciate seller who sms me, okay. I shall not reply them anymore, i dun care if they will be waiting for me at the Mrt Station later. x(

Might be having a flea market at Toa Payoh Central next sat to sell our items. Details will be confirmed again. (: Hopefully, will be able to sell most of the items! :D

Couple ring

Dearie bought a new couple ring for us from Couple Lab ytd. (: Because i heard that girls shouldn't buy rings for guys. There might be some bad incidents that may happen. I dunno if it's true but anyway Dear lost the ring alr. So, yup. A new ring might be a good start. Who knows. Hehe. I'm starting to love the ring, tho' we had some disagreements about the designs.

OSEP, movies, facial, fish spa!

Mum has approved me going for the OSEP (Oversea Students Exchange Programme) to Germany/Korea. Application form is really troublesome with all the "photocopies of ...", you can really just shake off the idea of going OSEP. But, i still make the effort to go to and fro NYP just to get things done since my family and Dear have already encouraged and approved me going. (: Will be submitting the form with Shimei, Sylvia and Rachel on tue. Still gathering all the forms together. Overall, I'll still have to go for interview. Shall see then.

Caught a flick with Dear on Fri after i got the Financial Scheme from school. What Happens In Vegas is a great show. Dear said it was the best show ever watched. Haha. I dun really agree but definitely it is a good movie for laughters and romance. (: I've got so many shows that i wanna watch but i keep missing it at the cinema. ): And, you know my memory. I can hardly rmb any except the movie that Louis Koo acted. He's damn shuai can! Oh gosh. I missed that flick.

Went for facial in the noon with a few of them at Toa Payoh CC. A waste of money but okay la. Went to support Shimei. Haha. No more next time uh! Lol. Then met mum at Shaw Centre and we bought a Guess bag! :DDDD Super happy!! Because they get rid some of the bags on the shelves and put it on sales! We spotted 2. But, mum only allow me to get 1 only because she has a $100 voucher. So i got the furry one instead of the Yellow leather bag which its stains are non-removable. Sadly, it's really a nice bag for casual wear. ))): I want to get another bag that's similar! Anyway, i brought mum for fish spa at Chinatown and got some money for exchange to Korean Won. (: My fish spa package has ended officially. Haha. Shall look for another nearer branch.

When i know i may leave for 4 and a half months for studies, I just couldn't get my mind off you. I'm already missing my bro, he's only 1 month away for studies. I can really sense myself missing him even tho i dun say it out or even think about him in the day. I literally teared. )':
My heart hopes i'm not in for the OSEP but my mind wants to go. Contradicting? Yup. That's what i loathe the most. Having you by my side is always safe. Without you, i feel that i'm always in a danger zone wherever i go. Maybe i'm spoilt by your careful-caring character. If i have the ability to bring you along, I'll not let you stay in Singapore. I want you to see the world as i do. I want to travel to enjoy the sceneries with you. If only, i have the ability..

Celebrated mummy day! :D

Celebrated thrice for Mother's Day! :D Though Bro is at Fuzhou now, he got his friend to buy my mum a bouquet of flowers! Aww. My mum was so happy can! Haha. I aint that bad also okay. I bought her an Iora top. Damn pretty. I was thinking of wearing it myself if mum doesn't want it. xD

First is before Mother's Day with uncle's family and Ah Gong at IMM Fish&Co. Ordered too much and ate too full but the kids were super cute! Esp the youngest child. (:

A scene that i saw aches my heart. When my uncle drove us and stopped at a roadside for my Ah Gong (Grandpa) to alight, he walked slowly up the stairs while holding onto the handrail. The kids waved goodbye and the moment he turned around to smile, i felt my heart skip a beat. His health aint as good as before, his skin gets dried up and crumpled together. I can sense him slowly leaving this world. )): Sigh.. No choice but... this is a life cycle. I have never really talk to him like a family member because there's somehow a barrier in between.

Enough of those saddening post. Anyway, the second celebration is only two of us at Novena on Sunday itself. We had dinner at Ajisen. Yum yum! Shopped around Square2. Din buy anything tho' but my mum bought a diamond ring and earring to pamper herself. Haha.

The third time is with Dearie! :D Dear treated us dinner at Dian Xiao Er last night. Damn delicious! Everything was nice! Mummy and i enjoyed it alot. Loves dearie! Thanks alot, Dear! Give you lotsa kisses! Mua-mua-muacks! Keke.

Finally, my ICAs are over! Seriously, it's a nightmare. Rushing for projects are hell, role playing is a bitch. God damn, I forgot half the paragraph of my script due to nervousness. =X I hope my grades are not Cs and Bs. ): B+ is okay for me. Booooo.

Monday evening, we had a small birthday celebration and gathering with Serbian. Dear and I bought a orange Zara top for her. (: Hope she likes it.

This morning is a good weather to sleep in yet i woke up and had menstral cramps. What a bitch cramp that i had. I growled and screamed for 3-4 hours and finally Dear came to deliver porridge for me. (: I felt better after which. Thanks alot, Dear! :D

Unreasonable husband

Sitting on the chair at a corner. Waiting for mum. Witness a scene of a young couple which made me actually afraid of marriage. A playful son who wanted to go to the toilet, pulling his maid along. His dad actually refuse to let him go. End up his kindhearted mum told the maid to bring him to the toilet. After which, the husband made a fuss because he himself bought the wrong tablet. And he actually blamed his wife that she is wasting his time. What a logic! -.- his wife is actually pregnant and she is carrying a heavy bagpack, pushing the baby carriage. What is his f-ing husband doing! Nothing. What a pity to the lady who married him. That's why the divorce rates keep rising. I dun understand a single thing what is really wrong with his mind. Is he insane or sth? I think some guys just need some brainwash.

Rushing proj

Classical in TEP aint as good as it seems. Altho it's only 3 weeks of studies plus 1 week study break then another week of ICAs, it's tiring to rush the projects! After 1 project is another. It goes on. Luckily, i have Zoe who did almost 3/4 of the project. She is superb if you ever group with her. On the other hand, sorry that i din help much. Just editing that i did. ): Super guilty. After the CS Role Play 1, we officially finished our PM project this morning with Report and ppt done. Next will be CS ICA 3. Sigh. Chiong again tonight.

Monday was rehearsing CS Role Play that i mentioned previously and playing badminton in school. It feels great sweating after an hour of badminton. Hopefully, I can plan another one soon after our ICAs. But, i guess the sweating went down to drain that day because we had Fish&Co for dinner. How sad. ):

Tues was the actual day of Role Play. I got super nervous even while rehearsing with Zoe in the Research Carrels. I could memorise every single word but i started to stammer as the Role Play starts. Damn paiseh. And, i don't know why we're so lucky to be the first one. -.- It shocked me. After the Role Play, we stayed to watch the other groups performed. A few of them were great actors/actresses. The whole scenes were full of giggles. Especially the one that role-played Fish&Co. Damn hilarious.

Wed was Boyfriend day! :D We spent the whole afternoon together. Had lunch at Woodlands Centre and walked around to see if i can spot any treasures. xD It's been long since we acc each other for so long. Because bro was away, i couldn't leave my mum at home alone. (:

Yesterday, met Zoe in school to do the MS project. We completed half the project in school. Cool. Met Rachel too! :D Had lunch and then she stayed with us in the lab. Dinner at Bishan foodcourt with the rest. Gossips again. xD

Will be meeting 2 online people ltr and most probably going Cwp to get sth for mum. Mother's day this weekend! (for those who have forgotten) What should i buy? I have no idea seriously. Brain cells are dying one by one. =X

Anyway, I may be considering going for an Overseas Study Exchange Trip in sept. It's either Germany or Korea. But, everything is not confirm yet. There's interviews to go through and most importantly it's mum's decision. Whether or not she'll approve is another story. Hmm.. Shall take some time searching for info about Germany & Korea and get more details from the teacher-in-charge. It's a 4 and a half months trip, everything must be made clear before any decisions. Will update again when confirmed.

Long awaited oversea trip

Another week has passed. This week was only 3-day study week as thur was Labour day. ICA on mon and wed. Both were okay. Just some careless mistakes here and there. Dint expect much for both of these modules. ): I'm just so unprepared to sit down and mug. Sigh.. Hopefully tep stopover A & B will be a much better one. It stands a major percentage.

Anyway, was supposed to go Geylang with the rest to have seafood feast. But, dear fell sick. Timing, too late, venue, too far. Sorry, shall compensate next time. ): I did want to have a good meal. East Coast Long Beach. Hopefully.

Mum has been searching for travel agent to plan a getaway trip with me, since bro's oversea internship. :D After much research by mum, we went down to Chinatown to book our Korea Trip (Jeju Island + Seoul) from ASA Travel. Cool! The itinerary is not bad. I cant wait to pack my luggage and get going. (:

Role play next tue. Scripts should be ready, just left some editing to be done.

Oh ya. I went to a nearby salon to cut my hair and did some scalp treatment. All along, my scalp isnt very good, kinda pain when pressed. My hair has returned to it's natural curl. In some angle, i find it sucks. That's why i did rebonding twice last time. Maybe i shall try doing some curls myself.
